Mission aborted

What could be nicer than a house on the sound? A nice quiet long weekend.... We thought it would be great, visions of the kids playing on the beach, quiet reading, family time. And then we came to the realization we have 2 very active kids, it's cold and rainy and Calvin doesn't sleep unless he is in his crib. After a 2 hour battle to get them to sleep last night and no naps today we decided not to subject ourselves to another 2 nights. We found solitude in a McDonalds play place and then decided to head back to Seattle. Damien can come back tomorrow for all the peace and solitude we hoped for...
