"Beach"

Well, Calvin loves the water so I shouldn't have been too shocked when he said "beach" after dropping Addie off at school. So we headed home to pick up the beach toys and went down to the water (with a quick stop at Starbucks where Calvin used another word, "Cake pop"). We spent an hour playing with water rocks and toys enjoying the sunshine.

Well, Addie has given up naps most days so we now have arts and crafts time since that seems to keep her interest for a while and paint is something best done while Calvin naps. It seems like with everything wether she colors or paints she gets rid of all the white. Here is Addie painting today while Calvin napped...

Sick Day

Once you have kids you never take sleep for granted and if you do Faye gives you a sick child.... Calvin is sick so he gets Curious George Marathons on the sofa bed. Addie is along for the ride since it is Spring Break.

"Walk"

Calvin loves to walk into Addie's school all on his own, lately he has been bringing along a ball to play with as he waits. As soon as we park he says "walk" and is quick to hop onto the path.

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was perfect weather here in Seattle so it was spent outside. We had an egg hunt at the community center/park on Saturday and then had friends over for egg decorating and fun with the water table. Easter brought "pet" balloons that have become a favorite of Calvin's and a visit from grandad and grandmama. The afternoon was low tide so we wandered around the tide pools soaking up more Seattle sun.
