They found the hill

Addie and Calvin have found out that they can ride down the sidewalk on their bikes and the hill is a great way to go a little faster. Addie bombs down the hill as fast as she can, Calvin takes his time a bit more... At the end Addie rolls her bike but is fine since she knows to steer it into the grass first. The only learning lesson came when we let Calvin go down the hill first and Addie quickly followed, soon ramming Calvin on his bike.

Little helpers

I am making some crafts for display in the store and Addie and Calvin decided that they wanted to help dip dye the coffee filters. They actually lasted for 40 minutes before they got bored and moved into new things.

Monday Art Day

Tonight the kids decided they wanted to use the newly acquired spin art kit Addie got for her birthday. They had a good time and used restraint (for the most part) when squeezing the paint out. Mini masterpieces.....

Birthday Month

Yesterday was another Peps friends birthday. Both Addie and Calvin were invited, it was at a gymnastics studio where the kids got to swing, run on the trampoline and zip line. Both had a great time, although Calvin took 20 minutes to unlatch from my leg since he fell asleep in the car ride down. 

Addie Turns 6!

Yesterday was Addys birthday party. We had a party for her and her friends at the YMCA so they can all run around and get some energy out. Addie had a great time swinging on the rings and climbing up the net that they have, it goes up half a story in the gym area and she made it all the way to the top. Then we had a frozen (Disney Frizen) cake which I decided to put a sparkler with the number six on....Addie of course loved the pyrotechnics. Calvin spent most of the party sulking, in ball pits and cubbies. Its been a rough week with him not quite understanding that his birthday is still three months away and Addie's birthday is for Addie.
