New Life for the tutu

Calvin found a new piece of clothing and it has quickly become a favorite. It reminds Damien and I of Ace Ventura "put me in coach!"

Our little Valentines

Well, with 2 schools for Addie we had to make quite a few Valentines. Calvin got to make a set of Valentines to take into Meghan's house as well with dinosaurs. It was quite a little assembly line of bagging, signing, taping.

The end of a long week

I have been in New York all week for business and Damien was looking forward to a week off with my mom taking the kids Monday night so he could have some time off.... And then he got the flu. He just recovered today, I flew back as scheduled in Thirsday night with my mom taking the kids on Thursday afternoon/night too. I took the kids to the Y for family night and they ran around for an hour on the bounce house and got their face painted. Addie wanted her to paint her tummy and the gal compromised on hands with flowers. Calvin got an octopus.

Birthday weekend bonanza

Well this weekend was a full one. We had Addie's birthday on Saturday and another birthday party Saturday night at a pizza parlor with old school video games (fun to see that some things stay the same with kids). Calvin would sit and stare at the games and hit all the levers... He even pushed a spare chair up so he could see them better. Addie played some pinball and did pretty well. On Sunday we had another birthday party and the Super Bowl (by ourselves so we could watch the game). Go Hawks!
