Addie got a princess dress up outfit from grandma and papi complete with necklace, cloak and 3 pairs of heels. This is the second day in the outfit. Fortunately she took it off for bed last night.

First snow of the season

Well, we had our first snow if the season last night. Not much stuck around our house but a few blocks away cars and grass were covered in white. Who knows, maybe it will be a white Christmas. This is Addie at school where the field was dusted in snow.

Cookie making

We went over to a friends house last night for a Christmas party and some cookie decorating. The kids had fun with the frosting and sprinkles and then spent some time running around burning the sugar off. Calvin even partook in the cookie decorating but spent more time eating the cookie than decorating it.

Ride-ons and bounce houses

Kids today have so many cool things to play with... Now I feel old saying that. Calvin had a gym full of toys to himself for a little bit today. Spoiled rotten.

It's amazing what a brush can do

Brushing Addie's hair is a chore, lots of tears and lots of detangler so it isn't often that she gets a good brush. Today she did and I wish I ha taken a before picture... She wanted the big bow in her hair at the end. The second photo is her version of smiling...

That kind of day...

Well poor Calvin fell in dog poop at the park and had fun splashing in pee this morning after Addie had an accident on the floor (I was busy cleaning Addie up, by the time I turned around Calvin was squealing with delight). Anyway, we got a few picks of him at the park, pre dog poop.

Decking the Halls

We got our Christmas tree today, it was wet and rainy and we weren't picky but we got our tree. Addie and Calvin really enjoyed putting the ornaments on. Addie loved seeing all the animals and Santas and Calvin had fun with all the ball shape ornaments.. He was pretty pleased with himself when he put an ornament on the tree. We even had Christmas music on and no one melted down. Let the Holiday season begin!

Black Friday at the Aquarium

We spent Friday at the aquarium so the kids could run around. Calvin loves the fish tanks and REALLY loves the touch tanks, he wants to climb in but we restrain him pretty well. After the aquarium we walked around the pier and Addie had her first old school arcade experience with tickets and prizes. She won some tickets and got a paper roll in a stick that you fling ... F course she belted Calvin within 5 minutes and it got tossed. Anyway, a good time with new experiences, maybe next time we will try skiball (wood balls and Addie seemed like a bad decision).

Active Weekend

Well, with our trip to Vegas and the holiday we re going a bit stir crazy with the kiddos so D took them to the aquarium Saturday (we went as a family on Friday) and I took them to the zoo and bookstore today. A bit cold at the zoo so the kids stayed in the stroller until we got tithe indoor play area. Them they had some fun running around and climbing all over.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful day with lots of turkey and food. Addie got an Olivia the pig balloon at market that us as big as her. We also brought Calvin home a balloon so they wouldn't fight over it. Grandmama and grandad came for a visit and turkey and then everyone had a nap in the living room (not mom and I). Lots of leftovers yeah!

Murphy's law

Calvin seems to know when we are traveling. He woke up at 11 and then again at 3 am. He has a 102 degree fever... I am hoping he gets better soon. Damien and I head to Vegas on Saturday.

Aquarium Sunday

We went to the aquarium with the kids on Sunday. Calvin loves looking at the fish and was ready to climb into the touch tank. The kid loves the water. Addie was happiest when he got some Pirate's Booty.

Boys Ferry Ride

Damien took Calvin for a boys day on Saturday. They took the ferry and went over to a car show and then picked Addie up from my parents on the way home. I love Calvins grey monster beanie (as do most other people who always tell us).
