Sick Day

Well poor Calvin is now sick. So, if any one is counting that is 2 fat lips, a black eye and now some sort of cold/fever/throat thing. Poor guy. Of course he seems to be OK if he is watching Max and Ruby (cartoon rabbits) so we are in bed and watching movies. Addie was quick to see the opportunity and wanted all the things Calvin got, like a blanket, snacks in bed and a water bottle. Hopefully Calvin recovers quickly and Addie stays healthy.

 

 

Barefoot in the grass

The kids like to run around in the grass after Addie's preschool. Since she goes to the community center for school there is a city park just outside and a big AstroTurf playfield. Since the AstroTurf is plastic it gets nice and warm in the sun so they usually end up laying down for a bit and soaking up the sun. We will be sad when it gets to cold to play but for now we are enjoying the park all we can.

Sorry Calvin

Poor guy got floored (literally) at preschool by Miss Addie. He got a bad fat lip, pictures don't do it justice. Last week he got his first black eye when Addie bumped him and he fell.... Poor guy.

A few days behind

Well, I am running a bit behind. We had a lovely walk along the waterfront in Sunday. Addie did a great job riding her bike and Calvin walked for a chunk of it and finished it out in the wagon. The kids liked watching the boats launch and all of the divers in the coves. There was plenty to see along the walk and some sun to soak up!

Calvin is officially....

Calvin is officially spoiled. Yep, he is spoiled rotten. I try so hard not to give him things he wants but for some reason he is way more likely to throw fits than Addie was. Anywhere there is a ballon he throws a huge fit until he has one (you wouldn't believe all the places that have balloons, I never noticed before). The market is especially bad. I always wheel him through the floral/ produce section where they have all the balloons but then at the end of every isle at the checkouts there are more. So even I'd I dodge one I have 10 more waiting.... So Calvin gets his balloon.... And now he is happy.

First day of Preschool

Addie's first day if preschool!

**Updated: I picked her up and she had a great day. She listened very well (even though she said her friend didnt) and ate most of the lunch I packed her. She was proud of herself for using the bathrrom on her own and then running back to class to play with her friends, as she said "mom, I even washed my hands". The feat that really impressed me was that she stayed seated on the carpet with all the other kids when I walked into the room to pick her up. She has never done that before..... this may be a great thing to expose her to some listening skills!

Long week

I will post more pics later, it was a long week with no YMCA and the website launching. For now it is time for a walk in Alki and a Starbucks.

Addies outfit

Well, Addie chose her outfit. I had picked out jeans, shirt and flip flops. Damien then selected overalls instead if jeans.... Addie added a ruffle top and polka dot socks and the headband/Barrett combo. Enjoy!
