Addies first Trick or Treat

Due to the cold we reverted to the lion costume she has, no mermaid (she had dressed up as a mermaid for the kids Halloween party). Damien came up with the concept of a hybrid Wizard of Oz with the lion and Dorothy shoes. We went to 5 neighboring houses and she is now hopped up on 2 candy bars.... I think it will be a 10:00 bedtime.

Kids Museum with Dad

On Sunday we went to the kids museum with Damien so it was way easier chasing Addie with two of us. She was still running to all the exhibits and didn't slow down for 2 hours. Calvin seemed to enjoy the rise and be entertained watching his big sister.

Heart palpitations

Addies new game is to ride the bee full speed at the highchair, grab the legs of the highchair and swing off the bee under the highchair... I hate to think what the high school years will bring.

Addies little pumpkin

Addie got her own pumpkin this year to carve, we are keeping the knives away from her though.

Pumpkins

We went to market last night to get our pumpkins. I remember always picking the biggest one and my parents usually suggesting a smaller one; now I understand why. I talked Addie into one of the smallest ones I could find :)

Ok, so I know it is a lot about Calvin eating but how can you not smile!

Calvins breakfast

He is up to 3 meals a day. Here he is enjoying some oatmeal, 30 minutes to feed and an endless amount of time cleaning up.

Yes, we play fetch

I came up with a game called "go get bunny" where I throw bunny in the big play-field down at Alki and Addie and I race to get it (Calvin joins in too if he wants out of the stroller). Yes, it is essentially fetch... Sometimes I feel other moms watching me and I wonder if they are in awe or shock. But, it works, Addie is always exhausted at the end and giggling all the way through. Here she is with bunny, who gets pretty wet and dirty.

Kamikaze Addie

Addie enjoys the park even in the rain, which means we are the only ones there. Recently she prefers to play chicken with the play lawn mower and the bob stroller... I managed to catch her mid charge. Calvin is staying bundled up and likes being under the covers.

Addies manners

Normally she is pretty good with table manners but lately she likes sitting sideways with legs over the arms... It doesn't look comfy.

Calvins new favorite toy

We washed the bouncer this weekend so Calvin could start using it. His feet barely touch the ground but he can jump and spin in it so he is happy. The drool that amasses on the seat is quite a sight, I think we may have to wash it weekly :)
